You all know how much I love my chocolate and peanut butter, so, I figured why not do some chocolate and almond butter? They are two things you really cannot go wrong with: chocolate and nut butter in the form of these 4-Ingredient Chocolate Protein Balls.
4-Ingredient Chocolate Protein Balls
One of the best parts about this recipe is how quick and easy they are to make. No baking necessary. One bowl, 4-ingredients, and 15 minutes are all you need to be enjoying these delicious protein balls in no time.
I really hope you enjoy them! And if you are reading this in time, make sure to check out our giveaway we are collaborating with American Dream Nut Butter on. You can check out the post on Instagram! The winner will be receiving two jars of nut butter, as well as ONE Protein (flavor of choice) and ONE Greens!
Check out the recipe below...
1 scoop (34g) Macro1 ONE Protein, chocolate brownie
2 tbsp (20g) black cocoa powder*
1/4 cup (64g) almond butter (I used American Dream)
2 tbsp almond milk (might need slightly more or less if you are using a different protein, but don't recommend swapping out for other protein)
1 tbsp regular cocoa powder (to roll the truffles in)
*Black cocoa powder is the cocoa powder that is used to give Oreos the black color and has a slightly different distinct flavor. Regular cocoa powder can be used as well.
**Any almond butter will work for this recipe. You could even sub peanut butter.
Must use ONE Protein. Whey protein won't give the same, fudgy truffle consistency.
- Add protein powder, cocoa powder, almond butter, and almond milk to a bowl. Mix together well until a thick, basically cookie dough texture is formed.
- Placed dough in freezer for about 10 minutes to chill. This will make it easier to roll into balls.
- Once chilled, roll into 4 balls. Next, place some extra cocoa powder on a plate or in a bowl and roll the truffles in cocoa powder to give a chocolate coating.
