Anabolic Protein Ice Cream

I constantly get requests for the recipe for this over on my Instagram @macro_chef. So, since it is now made better with MacroSupps ONE Protein, I figured I would share the recipe here. 

Anabolic Protein Ice Cream

Using a whey + casein blend protein powder like ours is key to making this super thick, creamy, and like soft-serve ice cream. When you make it right, you will know because you will be able to stick it over your head upside down without it falling out. Anyway, to the recipe!

  • 1 scoop (34g) Macro Supps ONE Protein, vanilla flavor

  • 1 1/4 cups (300mL) unsweetened cashew milk or almond milk

  • 2 - 3 cups (375g) frozen strawberries (or preferred frozen fruit!)

  • pinch salt (to taste)

  • 1 cup ice (for even more volume!)* 

  • cocoa powder, peanut flour, sugar free pudding mix, or any other delicious mix-ins!

✅ Notes

*Adding ice makes the ice cream a little less creamy, but adds extra volume. 


  1. Add all ingredients to a powerful blender. Use the plunger to press ingredients down and continually blend. It will be very thick.
  2. If desired, add ice for extra volume. Blend again until super creamy and completely smooth. Add in any mix-ins or toppings. Enjoy!
